Sodexo is seeking a Part Time Registered Dietitian Nutritionist I-HC (24 hours per week) at Hamilton Medical Center, located ~ 30 miles south of Chattanooga TN. This 280 bed acute care hospital has 4 intensive care units, including a Level 3 NICU. Hamilton Medical Center supports community activities and offers a wide range of opportunities to get involved. If you like outdoor activities, Dalton and surrounding areas have an abundance of recreational activities to enjoy as well as a state-of-the-art wellness center!

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will:

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
• Provide weekend coverage in dietitian weekend rotation;
• Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and test trays;
• Educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses; and
• Precept dietetic interns.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
