Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• I hold a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. I am open to considering equivalent educational combinations for degree holders outside of the listed majors.
• I have training or experience in one or more scripting languages and configuring test automation.
• I am experienced with source control management tools like GitLab or Bitbucket.
• I have worked in an agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• I possess certifications such as Certified Test Foundation Level (CTFL) ISTQB or ASTQB Standard, and Certified Tester Test Automation Engineer (CT-TAE) ISTQB or ASTQB Standard.
• I am experienced in scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, Java, or C#.
• I have knowledge of database queries and experience with PHP programming language, Selenium WebDriver, PHPUnit, MySQL, RestAssured, or equivalent API/contract-based testing frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• I am responsible for specifying, designing, building, programming, verification and validation testing, commissioning, and assisting deployment and technical support for automated test systems, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Software Quality.
• I build automated testing solutions to meet our goals for automated testing.
• I create, organize, and manage test automation standards and resources.
• I create, update, and maintain automated UI and API tests.
• I implement automated test systems for our applications and collaborate with Development, Software Quality Assurance, and DevOps teams to analyze quality feedback and data for process improvements.
• I assess existing automated testing processes and suggest opportunities for enhancement.
• I document our automation strategy and procedures for the team, create automation test plans, and secure necessary approvals.
• I research recommended test automation tools and configure automated test environment elements.
• I integrate automated tests with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and pipelines.
• I collaborate with the DevOps team to extend existing test automation frameworks and tools, triage and troubleshoot defects, and document them.
• I work closely with engineers and Software Quality Assurance to improve our development pipeline.
• I perform and write automated functional, system, regression, and integration tests, along with developing and executing manual test cases to ensure software quality before release.
• I escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams and leadership and utilize internal automation tools to help achieve complete automation.

I understand the physical demands of this role, which include standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing.
