Outside Golf Operations Manager
Golf course in Rocky River, Ohio is looking for an Outside Golf Operations Manager.
Position Overview:
To help enhance the experience, we’re looking for an outside operations manager to lead our outside golf operation at the club. This role typically will be the first person that a member or guest sees when arriving at the club, and they have the opportunity to create a warm welcome. Primary duties include the oversight of the first tee area, cart presentation and staging, as well as the driving range and short game areas. Provides service to the members/guests in the 1st tee area, directing play, tee time coordination, tournament operations, rules and club policies, pace of play and updating the tee sheet correctly for billing purposes. This person will interact and engage with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Operate the starter and 1st tee area in a professional manner while maintaining an orderly flow of the outside operation staff.
• Manage and schedule the bagroom staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized starter and 1st tee area.
• Work in tandem with the caddie manager and golf staff to offer the best customer service and first tee experience.
• Ensure all carts are clean and staged appropriately before they go out for a round.
• Ensure accountability and a clear understanding of expectations for other bagroom employees working during their shift.
• Consistently ensure accuracy with daily tee sheets for correct billing purposes.
Requirements:
A welcoming and enthusiastic team player that focuses on achieving high levels of customer service.
Great organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
Previous golf not required, but beneficial.
Compensation:
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
