Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will report to the VP of Marketing and play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies & content to promote our mortgage products and services. We are looking for a creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns.  

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee the creation and maintenance of web-based content on various online platform, including but not limited to updating content to ensure its current.  

• Create high-quality, engaging, and optimized content across various channels including but not limited to blog posts, email, websites, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics, and social media posts.  

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy, across multiple sales channels, aligned with performance goals and target audience. 

• Work closely with other departments to align social media content with overall marketing strategies and campaigns. 

• Partner with SEO to develop content strategy and calendar, elevating organic search ranking and owning written content production.  

• Working closely with Marketing Manager to implement the rollout of proprietary programs, planning and execution of trade show participation, and managing email campaigns and automation. 

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously innovate and enhance our approach. 

• Administrative duties may be assigned to support other marketing channels. 

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2C and B2B marketing communications or a similar role. 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with social and web content and WordPress. 

• Knowledge & Experience with Salesforce and email automation platforms a plus. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. 

• Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative marketing strategies.
