Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Engineer to join our Land Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, permitting, and execution of land development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, design, and management of land development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Prepare site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, and utility designs in accordance with local codes and regulations.
Coordinate and obtain necessary permits from relevant authorities.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Perform site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Develop project budgets, schedules, and reports to track progress and communicate updates to clients and internal teams.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff to promote professional growth and team collaboration.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and local/state regulations affecting land development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Oregon Professional Engineer (PE) license preffered, another surrounding state is acceptable.
5+ years of experience in land development design and project management.
Proficiency in civil engineering software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other design tools.
Strong understanding of local and state regulations governing land development.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience with hydrology and stormwater management design is a plus.
