Job Description

Purpose:

The Volunteer Community Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a vibrant and engaged community within Coexist. This individual assist in building and maintaining relationships with community & Coexist members, organizing events and initiatives as desired, and promoting the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities:

Community Engagement and Outreach:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase member engagement and participation.
• Promote the organization's benefits and perks to existing members.
• Organize and encourage members to host events and activities to attract new members and volunteers.

Volunteer Recruitment and Retention:

• Develop and implement volunteer recruitment campaigns like street teams and Coexist ambassadors. 
• Onboard new volunteers and support them with necessary training and support discussed beforehand.
• Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer environment.
• Recognize and reward volunteers for their contributions.

Community Partnerships:

Build and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations.

Collaborate on joint initiatives and events.

• Promote the organization's presence in the community.
