The S2G Logistics Team is Growing! We are looking to hire a hands-on Track and Trace Specialist to join our Louisville, Kentucky location!

Scope:

Reporting to the Customer Account Service Supervisor, The Track and Trace Specialist is responsible for tracking all daily shipments based upon customer contractual obligations. This role will ensure proper transportation processes are followed to confirm on-time delivery, vendor delivery compliance, acceptance of non-compliance charges, and communicating with appropriate departments for issue resolution.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams across the organization (Order Management, Sales, etc.) to identify issues, communicate status and submit status reports to leadership for customer engagement
  • Proactively track and validate on-time delivery of all customer related shipments
  • Maintain reporting to document freight delivery related data
  • Read, interpret, and form logical conclusions on shipping related documentation
  • Work collaboratively across multiple departments to problem solve, determine root cause analysis, and communicate internally and externally through advanced written and verbal skills
  • Compile carrier compliance/non-compliance data to identify cost and impact. Communicate data to appropriate audience
  • Retain comprehensive knowledge of customer specific requirements and ensure each order adheres to these expectations
  • Tracks performance through statistical analysis for the purpose of metric publication and communication
  • Responsible for tracking and tracing responsibilities through carrier portals for singular POD's and/or on-time requirements and OS&D reporting
  • Provide additional support to different departments as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required (AA/BA degree a plus)
  • 1 year of Customer Service experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to construct professional business analysis to be distributed to the leadership team
  • Communicate, understand, and perform complex tasks with minimal supervision
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Windows, and Excel
  • Must be fully available during the holiday period from October through December; (including Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving). Candidates that are unavailable during these periods will not be considered as this is a company-wide blackout policy.

    The successful candidate will receive a conditional offer which will be contingent upon a successful background clearance obtained through our contracted third-party vendor. The standard clearance requirements depend on the position and may include some or all of the following: criminal or credit clearance, employment verification, education verification, and driver’s abstract review.
