Exciting Opportunity: Thermoforming Machine Technician

Join our Canandaigua team as an enthusiastic Thermoforming Machine Technician.

What We Offer:

Enjoy a competitive starting salary of $20.76 per hour with weekly payments. Begin with Fridays and Saturdays off during training and move to a regular schedule with Sundays and Mondays off once trained. Shifts run from 3:30-11:30pm.

The Role:

• Operate extrusion and thermoforming machines safely, ensuring operations are at or above standard levels.
• Diagnose machine issues and effectively make necessary adjustments.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to assist in production issues.
• Guide new operators by sharing insights and providing support.
• Consistently track and document end-of-shift details including crewing, machine times, and production outputs.
• Identify defective products and perform machine corrections.
• Follow housekeeping, standard work, and safety protocols rigorously.
• Exhibit excellent mechanical insight, as well as problem-solving and communication skills.

What You Bring:

• Refined manual dexterity and communication prowess.
• Meticulous attention to record-keeping routines.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and logical skills.
• A good grasp of math for recording production data.
• Ability to tackle minor machine issues with adept troubleshooting.
• Acquainted with measuring instrumentation and quality standards.
• Knowledge of Thermoforming machine principles.

Preferred Expertise:

• Mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience in plastic extrusion, injection, and blow molding sectors.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints is beneficial.

Technology and Tools:

• Handles injection and extrusion machines efficiently.
• Finesse with measuring devices like gauges and calipers.
• Experienced with blow-molding machinery.
