The Catholic School Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality instruction rooted in the Catholic faith and values. The teacher will nurture the spiritual, academic, and emotional development of students while fostering a faith-filled learning environment. This role involves collaboration with faculty, administration, and parents to ensure that each student thrives within the mission of Catholic education.
Plan and deliver engaging and standards-based lessons in [subject or grade level].
Integrate Catholic teachings and values into the curriculum and daily activities.
Support the faith formation of students through prayer, liturgical participation, and modeling Christian behavior.
Create a classroom environment that promotes respect, discipline, and academic excellence.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and school events.
Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support school-wide initiatives.
Participate in professional development and faith formation activities.
Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and assessments.
Uphold and support the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church.
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required).
Valid teaching credential or certification (state-specific if applicable).
Practicing Catholic in good standing (preferred or required, depending on diocese).
Prior teaching experience in a Catholic or faith-based school (preferred).
Commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to integrate faith into teaching practices and classroom culture.
