SOC Tier 1 Analyst
Rockville, MD – 100% ONSITE
US citizenship required per government contract 
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Candidate must have open, in-person shift availability: 1st shift: 6a-4p, 2nd shift: 1p-11p, 3rd shift 9p-6a

REQUIRED SKILLS:
•    1-3 years of security operations center environment experience or recent college graduate with industry certifications.
•    Experience with a variety of operating systems including Windows, Linux or UNIX in a functional capacity
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to communicate technical details clearly
•    Splunk or similar SIEM tool

PREFERRED SKILLS
•    CSIS, CEH, CSTA, CSTP, GCFE, CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN. – One or more preferred
•    IDS Log analysis skills
•    Packet Capture tools and analysis
•    Knowledge of well-known protocols and services (FTP, SSH, SMB, DAP)
•    Candidate must have open, in-person shift availability. Shift assignment will be determined by staffing needs. 1st shift: 6a-4p, 2nd shift: 1p-11p, 3rd shift 9p-6a
