Sodexo is hiring a Retail Manager 1 at Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center. In this role, you will oversee retail operations, manage a team, ensure high-quality food service, and maintain customer satisfaction in a healthcare setting. SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and Sodexo. As a certified minority company, we deliver food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities and aviation lounges. This strategic alliance between Magic Johnson Enterprises and Sodexo, Inc., enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

• provide stellar customer service
• oversee cash handing processes, and POS programming and maintenance
• ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed
• maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands)
• ensure all needed signage (including digital) is in place
• maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place

• demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs
