Job Description
Job Purpose/Function Responsible for recruiting and retaining participants for Nida research grant, ensures that all documentation and records are completed and compiled according to policies and procedures of the Liberation Programs/Nida.
Determine eligibility for participants and enroll for MAT medication.
Essential Functions Under the direction of Research Coordinator, and in consultation with the Chief Clinical Officer and Nida team, has responsibility including but not limited to:
- Researches and collects data through site intakes; library research; structured interviews; or through other means for designated research assignments for National Research trial.
- Records and compiles information related to research data. Codes data accordingly to research specifications. Uses a computer terminal to input and retrieve data and to generate reports.
- Processes and summarizes data using scientific or statistical techniques. Assists in data interpretation and analyses. Reports on status of research activities.
- Recruits study participants and ensures that subject recruitment and follow-up are completed per protocol procedures.
- Orders and maintains inventory of supplies. May assist in designing, developing, and modifying research experiments, procedures, or survey instruments. May assist research and support staff.
- Collects specimens for Urinalysis or Oral Testing
- Performs additional functions incidental to research activities.
- Outreach and education to the community to bring awareness and referrals for study
Special Responsibilities And Expectations - Timely response to requests for additional resources.
- Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed as assigned by management.
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in a research-related field such as psychology, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, etc. preferred
- Prior experience with research studies
- Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work well with
- Must be computer literate
