The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Radiology, part of the prestigious UW-Madison Schol of Medicine and Public Health is excited to announce an opening for a Radiology Technologist Assistant. This role is integral to supporting cutting-edge research, translational, and clinical patient care services at the renowned Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research (WIMR). This position plays a crucial role in assisting radiology technologists and ensuring smooth operations within the University of Wisconsin Madison Department of Radiology.

- At least 2 years of customer service, administrative, healthcare, and/or relevant professional experience.
- BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of start date required.
Anticipated hours will be 8:00am-4:30pm or 7:30am-4:00pm, depending on staffing needs. Shifts may be modified as agreed upon by employee and supervisor.
Full or Part Time: 80% - 100%
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.Ongoing/Renewable

The starting salary for the position is $24.00 per hour, but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
The department will not be able to support a request for a J-1 waiver. If you choose to pursue a waiver and apply for our position, neither the UW nor UWMF will reimburse you for your legal or waiver fees.
University sponsorship is not available for this position, including transfers of sponsorship. The selected applicant will be responsible for ensuring their continuous eligibility to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, a foreign national authorized to work in the United States without the need of an employer sponsorship) on or before the effective date of appointment.
