Find your future with us. **Boeing Defense, Space & Security** (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a **Quality Systems Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior)** to join our **Air Dominance Proprietary** team located in **Mesa, AZ.** **This position supports a 9/80 schedule!** **This position will support Non-Conformance Reviews (NCR), Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and work closely with Quality Engineering teams on large-scale quality projects for proprietary programs. Strong background in Quality inspection, Material Review Board (MRB) or RCCA is preferred.** **Position Responsibilities:** + Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development. + Prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed. + Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems. Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation. + Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability. + Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, and develops a coordinated response for management review and approval. + Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management. + Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment. + Works under general direction. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + 5+ years of experience in Quality + 3+ years in Aircraft inspection + 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment + 1+ year of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions + 1+ year of experience auditing to quality system standards + 1+ year of experience with regulatory agencies procedures and processes + 1+ year experience with composites and/or non-metallic materials **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + **Level 4** : 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience + Bachelor's Degree or higher + Experience in composite fabrication **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Travel:** This position may require up to 10% travel. **Shift:** This position is for 1st shift and may be required to support some 2nd shift operations according to business needs.
