Job Description

We're looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, verifying documentation, and ensuring adherence to food safety, SQF, GMP, and other relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Inspection:
  
• Conduct thorough inspections of labels and finished products, identifying and documenting defects (e.g., incorrect information, color variations, count discrepancies).
  
• Verify label counts and rewind directions.
  
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
  
• Perform pre-run and end-run evaluations, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete.
  
• Compliance and Documentation:
  
• Perform daily pre-operational cleaning inspections.
  
• Monitor personnel adherence to GMP.
  
• Verify and maintain accurate documentation.
  
• Assist in investigating customer complaints and discrepancies.
  
• Training and Reporting:
  
• Provide training to personnel on proper work practices.
  
• Report quality concerns and discrepancies to department supervisors.
  
• Perform documentation verification daily.
  
• Inspect all labels before shipment.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
  
• Experience in quality assurance or a related field is a plus.
  
• Ability to read and understand instructions and specifications.
  
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  
• Ability to use common sense to follow procedures.
  
• Basic understanding of Spanish is helpful.
  

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  
• Moderate noise level.
  
• Adherence to safety regulations is essential.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.
  
• Ability to stoop, kneel, twist, and crouch.
  
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  
• Good close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
