Derek is a vibrant and athletic young adult who recently experienced a life-altering accident. Once a proud football lineman and baseball player, he was known for his strength, teamwork, and perseverance. In December 2024, he survived a devastating car accident that left him with a spinal cord injury and a new reality: quadriplegia. Through incredible resilience and faith, Derek continues to approach each day with the heart of an athlete—determined, positive, and full of hope.
