Job Description

Summary

We are seeking candidates that have experience in the age groups of 4 - 5 years old. We are specifically looking for an experience, energetic Preschool or Pre-k teacher that has a desire to build connections with families, aid a co-teacher with curriculum and help with classroom management . In this position, you will work alongside the your co-teacher implementing lesson plans, managing the classroom and following daily routines. We are looking for this Fall (late August) but wish to begin training as soon as possible!

Duties

• Responsible (along with a co-teacher) for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children in a classroom
• Observes all rules and regulations of Whitehall Kids Academy and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
• Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule.
• Manages Classrooms through organization and behavior management techniques.
• Maintains a positive relationship with parents
• Gets children engaged in classroom activities by employing a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.)
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.

Requirements

• In School for CDA or have already obtained it.
• Creative Curriculum Experience
• Customer Service Skills
• Behavior Management Experience
• Active Supervision
