A Glimpse into Your Day as a Polymer Processing Specialist:

Stepping into this role, you take charge of overseeing and operating high-level production equipment. Your day involves ensuring every piece of machinery performs optimally, maintaining the quality of the final products, and conducting minor repairs when necessary.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Efficient and safe operation of thermoforming machines, ensuring standards in safety, quality, and efficiency are consistently met. You will also package finished products for shipment.
• Using your keen troubleshooting abilities to address and amend machine-related issues through precise adjustments.
• Contributing innovative problem-solving techniques to enhance production processes.
• Mentoring less experienced colleagues, offering them vital support and direction.
• Carefully filling out end-of-shift reports on crew hours, machine operation times, and daily production volumes.
• Conducting thorough inspections to spot defective outputs, fine-tuning machines to fix the root causes of these defects.
• Adhering to cleanliness and safety protocols, maintaining an organized work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least a year in a dynamic production setting with some industrial system mechanical know-how.
• The ability to finish necessary training and paperwork to achieve B – Operator status in a specified period.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, adept problem-solving skills, and clarity in both written and verbal communication.
• The ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand and work for entire 12-hour shifts.
