Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will manage payroll operations for a multi-state workforce of over 700 employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance standards. Responsibilities: - Process full-cycle payroll for a multi-state workforce of over 700 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations effectively. - Handle payroll adjustments, deductions, and reconciliations in compliance with federal and state regulations. - Ensure all payroll records are accurately maintained and updated. - Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to address payroll-related inquiries. - Support audits and reporting requirements by providing necessary payroll data. - Assist with payroll processing for employees across multiple states, adhering to varying tax laws and regulations. - Work with Sage Intacct to ensure seamless integration of payroll data. - Identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll calculations. - Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and best practices to maintain compliance. Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing. - Expertise in managing payroll for multi-state operations. - Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Sage Intacct. - Background in handling payroll for over 500 employees. - Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. - Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
