Job Description

As the Payroll Specialist / HR Assistant, you will partner with the HR Manager to oversee critical HR and payroll operations, ensuring everything from recruitment to benefits and leave administration runs smoothly and compliantly. Core Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding initiatives Generate and file reports on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Assist in finance and HR audits as needed Reconcile HR billing and PayFlex files Conduct New Hire Orientation throughout the year Handle background checks and fingerprint clearances for staff and vendors Maintain organized, accurate personnel files and HR records Assist with benefits administration and updates Serve as a positive representative for the administration office and build strong working relationships with all staff Show initiative, suggest process improvements, and comfortably address groups Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required Proven HR experience, including payroll and recruitment Advanced proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Google Suite Previous accounting experience is a plus Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Excellent communication and teamwork skills High degree of confidentiality and professionalism Self-motivated with initiative to improve processes Comfortable speaking in front of large groups Office management experience is preferred
