ICE CREAM MAKER

Key Responsibilities:

• Ice Cream Production:
• Follow detailed recipes to prepare ice cream mixtures, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
• Operate ice cream machines and other related equipment to produce various flavors, including seasonal or special offerings.
• Ensure that all ingredients are prepared and measured correctly to meet production standards.
• Time Management:
• Work efficiently to produce large quantities of ice cream within set timeframes while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products to meet demand.
• Organization & Cleanliness:
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools, equipment, and storage areas are properly sanitized and in good working condition.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food preparation and handling.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of ingredients, notifying management when supplies need to be reordered.
• Quality Control & Consistency:
• Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Perform regular checks on the ice cream’s texture, flavor, and presentation to ensure consistency with company recipes.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Communicate effectively with the team to address any issues, improvements, or adjustments needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Previous experience as an ice cream maker, pastry chef, or in a similar food production role is preferred.
• Experience with ice cream machines and other relevant equipment is a plus.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety standards.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift heavy ingredients and equipment when necessary.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
