Job Overview

Silvconnect is looking for fluent Ukrainian interpreters to join our growing team! As an Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) , you will provide accurate, clear, and culturally appropriate interpretation services for Ukrainian-speaking individuals and English-speaking professionals in a variety of industries such as healthcare , legal , customer service , and emergency services .

Responsibilities

• Interpret live calls between Ukrainian-speaking individuals and English-speaking professionals in real-time.
• Provide interpretation in medical , legal , financial , and emergency situations .
• Ensure accuracy, neutrality , and confidentiality during every interpretation.
• Adapt quickly to different accents, speech styles, and topics.
• Maintain professional ethics and high-quality service at all times.

Key Requirements

• Fluent in Ukrainian and English , both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) or Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) preferred.
• Certification or training in interpretation is a plus.
• Strong listening , memory retention , and note-taking skills .
• Neutrality and professionalism in all interpreting scenarios.
• A reliable internet connection , a quiet workspace , and a computer/phone with sound quality.
