Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Wireless Network Operations . The ideal candidate must possess the ability to manage complex networking issues and support regular ISE operational activities. This role focuses heavily on Cisco ISE operations with supplemental expertise in wireless technologies . Candidates without this specific experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support for LAN, Security, Data Center, and Campus Networks across North American sites.

• Install, configure, and support Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and Access Points (APs) .

• Provision and manage wireless network infrastructure using Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) .

• Integrate and implement Cisco ISE with wired, wireless, and VPN environments.

• Develop and maintain ISE policies and scripts in line with network security standards.

• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting on ISE and DNAC-related issues.

• Conduct wireless site surveys and implement network improvements based on findings.

• Monitor wireless performance, perform firmware upgrades, and resolve incidents.

• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors like Cisco to ensure efficient network performance and issue resolution.

• Participate in service improvement activities, change control processes, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Cisco Wireless Controllers : 5500, 9800 series

• Access Points : Cisco Aironet 9100, 4800, 3800, 2800

• Strong understanding of Cisco ISE infrastructure, integration, and access policies

• Deep experience in Cisco SDA (Software-Defined Access) and Cisco DNAC

• Tools: Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, PagerDuty, Data Dog, Thousand Eyes

• WLAN: Thorough understanding of 802.11 b/g/n/ac standards

• Network Protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, QoS, GRE, IPSEC VPNs, SSL, DMVPN

• Advanced troubleshooting using tools like Ekahau and Wireshark

• Knowledge of AAA protocols : RADIUS, DIAMETER

• Experience with Cisco Lightweight APs , centralized and local WLCs

• Familiarity with network switching technologies : VLAN, STP, Trunking, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, LACP

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS

Certifications Required:

• CCNA Wireless Certification (or equivalent proven experience)

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Cisco Meraki solutions

• Large-scale FlexConnect deployments

• SDA LAN/Fabric controller understanding

• Wireless site survey planning and implementation

• Knowledge of wireless security practices
