Job Description

Reporting organizationally to the Senior Manager, Central Planning the Manager, Logistics Coordination Centre - USA will be a key member of the FIFA26 Logistics team, and work in close collaboration with FIFA Zurich and other key individuals responsible for delivering the Central Logistics operations across Canada, Mexico and the USA.

This role will be responsible for supporting the central logistical operations during the planning and delivery phases to provide a seamless logistics operation throughout the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 & FIFA World Cup 2026. Further, this role will support throughout the planning and delivery stages coordinating logistics activities across the end-to-end supply chain including customs, warehouse, distribution, materials and venue.

THE POSITION

The primary responsibilities of the Manager, Logistics Contract Management for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2026 are to: 

• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle for upcoming contracts, including the drafting of procurement documentation, preparing post-execution monitoring and performance reviews.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external logistics service providers to ensure the smooth delivery of logistics operations during events, with a focus on optimizing performance, mitigating risks, and improving cost-efficiency.
• Review and ensure contract terms and conditions align with the organization's logistical requirements and goals.
• Assist with the contract management of the Official Logistics Service Provider (LSP) and other Logistics equipment suppliers to ensure adherence to contractual KPIs and service levels.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to address any contract-related issues and ensure successful implementation of logistics services.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies in logistics contracts.
• Proactively manage risks associated with logistics contracts, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and delays.
• Monitor and report on contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are taken as needed.
• Provide support to logistics teams by ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in line with contractual agreements.
• Oversee the coordination of logistics activities during key events, ensuring that all service levels are met within the constraints of the contracts.
• Track and report on the performance of logistics contracts, ensuring all KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
• Create and maintain regular reporting on logistics contract performance and provide insights to management for continuous improvement.
• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for senior management regarding logistics contract status, challenges, and performance metrics.
• Help create and maintain user guides, step-by-step instructions, and training materials for the Logistics team.
• Produce and contribute to the development of presentations and visual aids for stakeholder communication on Logistics planning processes and updates.
• Assist with monitoring and managing the Central Logistics budget.
• Line manage deputy managers in reporting and programme management as part of the overall central logistics team. 
• During key event periods, redeploy into the Logistics Coordination Center (LCC) to monitor and ensure the real-time execution of logistics operations. Document best practices and procedures to ensure clear tracking and transfer of knowledge.
• Participate in outreach programs, as required, intended to educate stakeholders on tournament time operations.
• Support on-ground logistics operations if required, possibly travelling to other locations

YOUR PROFILE

Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Major Event Logistics, etc.
• Knowledge of event logistics planning and event project management processes.
• Proven track record in managing complex logistics contracts and ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors to optimize logistics operations.
• Ability to analyze contract performance data and make informed decisions to improve operations and cost-efficiency.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude, patience, and persistence

Languages
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)

Technology
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project), planning software, and online collaboration tools.
• Familiar with Microsoft PowerBi: able to obtain data and create dashboards.
• Able to learn new software tools and train others.
