Job Description
About Slate At Slate, we’re building safe, reliable vehicles that people can afford, personalize and love—and doing it here in the USA as part of our commitment to reindustrialization. The spirit of DIY and customization runs throughout every element of a Slate, because people should have control over how their trucks look, feel, and represent them.
Who We Are Looking For Slate is looking for a dynamic, organized, and charismatic leader to take charge of our internal communications. You have experience dialing in a brand’s tone of voice and adapting it to speak to various audiences and stakeholders through a variety of media. You are a player-coach who can get the work done and mentor others, including executive leadership. You enjoy working cross-functionally and understand how to engage other teams toward common goals–and you understand the power of a key message. Above all else, you love spending time thinking about cars.
What You Get To Do As the Internal Communications Senior Manager, you will strategize, execute, and serve as the voice for company communications. You will spearhead strategic development and execution of internal company messaging; produce the monthly All-Hands meetings; develop company white papers and newsletters; take responsibility for the company intranet; and support executive communications. You will find unique and innovative ways of connecting Slate team members at our office sites, in remote offices, and at our factory in Warsaw, IN.
What You Bring To The Team - Bachelor’s degree (or relevant experience) and 15+ years of communications work.
- Automotive experience is preferred but not required.
