About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Attorney to contribute to the development of practical legal content, including "how-to" guides, practice notes, forms, checklists, and legal analyses. This role focuses on a variety of topics, including artificial intelligence, software licensing, cloud computing, video game and mobile app development, and more. You will be responsible for drafting new content and refining existing materials, ensuring accuracy and relevance based on case law, statutes, regulations, industry standards, and personal experience.

Key Responsibilities
Develop clear, user-friendly legal content, including how-to guides, practice notes, forms, and checklists.
Research and analyze healthcare regulatory, transactional, and compliance-related legal matters.
Review and enhance existing legal materials to reflect current case law, regulations, and best practices.
Conduct extensive taxonomy and language analysis of legal topics.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
Utilize Microsoft Word (including track changes) for drafting and editing.
Stay up to date with evolving healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active state bar membership in good standing within the United States.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory law, including compliance, licensing, governance, fraud prevention (Anti-Kickback, FCA), and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements.
Strong legal research, writing, and editing skills with the ability to create engaging, practical guidance.
Experience drafting legal content for newsletters, trade journals, legal publications, or law firm resources is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to conduct surveys and handle licensing issues.
Familiarity with HealthCare.gov, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
