A physician-led health system in the Finger Lakes region of New York is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a full-time employed position. This role offers exceptional compensation, strong work-life balance, and the chance to live in one of the most scenic areas in the state. The physician will join a collaborative GI team serving patients in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings.
Responsibilities:
Consult with patients to evaluate and manage gastrointestinal conditions
Perform endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
Order and interpret diagnostic tests to develop treatment plans
Coordinate care with primary care physicians and other specialists
Review patient histories and support a multidisciplinary approach to care
Qualifications:
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Proficiency in endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centered approach
