Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)

Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Salary Range: $205,000 – $225,000

We are seeking an experienced  Full Stack Software Developer  to join a high-performing Agile development team supporting a mission-critical federal program. This role requires expertise in front-end and back-end software engineering, modern JavaScript frameworks, microservices, cloud-based deployment (AWS), and database integration. The ideal candidate will contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from design through deployment—delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality custom solutions in a cloud-first environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test custom software solutions spanning multiple applications and services.
  • Translate functional and system-level requirements into detailed technical designs and implementations.
  • Develop and maintain applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and back-end service architectures.
  • Support and participate in code reviews, integration testing, regression testing, and 508 compliance testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver iterative capabilities and deploy enhancements.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs for integration across microservices and third-party systems.
  • Leverage AWS services to support cloud-native development, including serverless computing.
  • Manage relational and non-relational databases, utilizing both SQL and NoSQL technologies.
  • Ensure maintainability and scalability through clean coding, documentation, and peer collaboration.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • Modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
    • Microservice architecture and design principles
    • Cloud platform development, particularly AWS
    • RESTful API development and integration
    • SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB)
  • Experience supporting Agile software delivery in secure, high-availability environments
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Tysons, VA
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) is required at the time of application

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and React Query
  • Python development experience for back-end or scripting tasks
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
  • Familiarity with accessibility/508 compliance standards and testing
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure as code
  • Exposure to business process automation tools (e.g., Camunda, Flowable, N8n.io)
  • Strong background working within Agile methodologies and frameworks

Eligibility:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future
  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) clearance is required for this role
