 MAU is hiring a Field Superintendent – General Contracting for Landmark Construction in Charleston, SC. As a Field Superintendent – General Contracting, you will oversee all field aspects of various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information

• Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a General Contractor Superintendent or in a similar role

• Strong ability to manage multiple crews effectively
• Capability to work independently under pressure while meeting project deadlines without compromising quality
• Professional demeanor when interacting with customers, office staff, and crew members
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Physical ability to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods

Essential Functions

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee crews, ensuring a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
• Manage budgets and timelines while tracking daily labor and material costs
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine construction requirements and procedures
• Oversee subcontractors and labor resources to ensure project efficiency
• Provide regular updates and communicate project impacts to the Project Manager
