Facilitator

Position Summary:
A shop or production facilitator coordinate efficient flow of materials and finished goods into and out of the production process. Close coordination with each production department is essential to carry out tasks that ensure efficient use of materials and movement of goods. Able to anticipate potential bottlenecks.

Position Responsibilities
​​​​​​​The following are essential position accountabilities:

• ​​​​​​​Monitor work orders/jobs to ensure that production runs match order requirements.
• Correlation between orders and manufacturing to monitor and address overruns or delays in getting finished goods customers.
• Interacts with manufacturing to understand all aspects of keeping production running smoothly. Must also interact routinely with all shop master schedulers to assess current materials needs and to address any problems.
• Able to work with all plant personnel and be self-motivated
• Ability to communicate in the English language.
• Possess good communication skills
• Ability to work with management toward Total Quality.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to manually load or unload pallets
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. minimum.

Education/ Experience:

• Ability to write, read, and communicate in the English language.
• Possess good communication skills
