A 911 Dispatcher works within an emergency communication center/public safety answering point dispatching fire, law and medical emergencies to responding agencies. JOB DUTIES: Operate the 911 emergency answering phone system efficiently. Create an incident in CAD for all incoming calls answered, maintain generated incidents. Perform on call notifications, maintain highway log, monitor entrance points and alarm systems. Operate the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and radio system to provide prompt dispatching of emergency units.
