Job Description

Opportunity for a Construction Superintendent (Traveling) to oversee the construction and installation of food production facilities across the country. The ideal candidate should have excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the entire construction process for adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Plan and coordinate the construction schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to see that the project runs seamlessly.
  • Develop and implement effective construction strategies, including safety protocols, quality control, and project tracking.
  • Track project progress and report on status to management and clients.
  • Conduct inspections to review compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Train and manage onsite construction teams so they meet project expectations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management and supervision.
  • Experience with industrial projects a plus.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and building codes.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, up to 80% of the time, including living on-site.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize assignments efficiently.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
