The Illinois School for the Visually Impaired is seeking to hire a Chief Engineer to perform responsible administrative work in the direction of staff and students engaged in maintenance functions, including trades, power plant operations, grounds, security, transportation, and contractors. In addition, the Chief Engineer will conduct campus and physical plant facility tours regularly to assess the need for repair, maintenance, and replacement and/or requisitions and develop, direct, and oversee contracted projects, repair and maintenance projects and capital development projects at the school.

Work Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm; Monday-Friday; 30-minute unpaid lunch
