### Your Role
As an Assistant Bookkeeper, you will assist with managing financial data, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. If you're organized, analytical, and enjoy problem-solving, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

### Key Responsibilities:
- Process and track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Maintain organized records of transactions, invoices, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Regularly reconcile multiple bank accounts and financial statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage financial records for multiple clients, including data entry, invoicing, and transaction accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial closings.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with tax filings, including processing 1099s and supporting quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, mailing, and document management.
- Handle other related duties as assigned to support the business management team.

### What We're Looking For:
Required:
- 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience in a business management setting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.

Preferred:
- Experience with Datafaction/AgilLink.
- Familiarity with 1099 processing, accounts receivable (A/R), and accounts payable (A/P).

### Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

### Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
