Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement API integrations using FHIR, HL7, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
- Work with Object-Oriented programming, CI/CD principles, and version control tools.
- Implement cloud-based application integration options.
- Develop SOAP/RESTful web services and related integration technologies.
- Coach and mentor junior technical staff.
- Translate complex integration concepts for peers and customers.
- Contribute technical input to high-impact IT decisions.
- Accountable for complex enterprise-wide applications and integration efforts.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 7+ years of IT and business/industry work experience.
- 2+ years of practical application of FHIR standards.
- 2+ years of experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and CCDA.
- Experience with Object-Oriented programming, CI/CD principles, and version control tools.
- Experience with cloud-based application integration options.
- Experience with SOAP/RESTful web services, JMS/EMS, and related integration technologies.
- 3+ years as a technical expert in an IT organization.
- In-depth knowledge of modern programming languages and object-oriented design, coding, testing, and debugging.
- Experience working in Agile and SDLC-based environments.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Familiarity with networking, API security best practices, and automation tools.
- Domain experience in healthcare systems and interoperability.
